STRATEGIC
PLANNING

“If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.”-Lewis Caroll

A district should have a mission that is supported by the community and reflects the direction for the district. A strategy should reflect the core beliefs and values that the community has for its schools and with that, there must be accountability in all strategic plans.

FACILITATE LEADER EVALUATION

"Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other." - John F. Kennedy

Not only is it required, but your district leader deserves feedback on their performance, the opportunity to grow as a leader, and to have clear future goals.  Using the district’s evaluation rubric, we facilitate the board’s review of the district leader and develop a consensus regarding performance. This allows the board president to be a full participant in the evaluation process.  We also draft for the board president the performance document to review and edit.  We also work with the board to create next year’s goals for the district leader.

BOARD/
ADMINISTRATION
RELATIONSHIPS

“Great teamwork is the only way we create the breakthroughs that define our careers.”
-Pat Riley

If the leadership of the school district, the board and superintendent, are not united as a team, their effectiveness is impaired. Since schools work to create lifelong learners, boards and district leadership should model learning and partake in opportunities to improve as a board and administration. We will show you how to get there.

BOARD
GOVERNANCE

“Govern a great nation as you would cook a small fish. Do not overdo it.”-Lao Tzu

Effective school boards commit to a vision of high expectations for student outcomes; have confidence in the district’s ability to teach all children at high levels; are accountability driven; and focus on policies to improve student achievement. We can only achieve this through our distinct roles.

LEADER
MENTORSHIP

“We know what we are but know not what we may be”-Shakespeare's Ophelia in Hamlet

Professional development is not just for the teaching staff.  Leaders are needed at grade levels, departments, and building administration. Every professional athlete has a coach to help them improve. The same holds true for the professional educator.
